Everyone has some kind of talent.  But the key to harnessing it, and achieving the highest level of success, is hard work and commitment.   At our Mississauga studio we’ve been fortunate to keep company with a few students who have attained public recognition for their abilities. We are proud to acknowledge the success of the following students and are inspired by their stories:

Jon Gallant, bassist, "Billy Talent"  - Multiple Juno &  Much Music Video Awards.   Jon started as just a teenager with big dreams studying the bass with one of our teachers years ago. Jon and his high school friends, Ben, Ian and Aaron played on a lot of stages all over Canada, the US and Europe before they finally made it big.  They continue to perservere and keep working hard at their craft.  Jon still has family ties in Mississauga andBilly Talent CD you Billy Talent IIcan sometimes spot him around town. We wish him and the band continued success and prosperity. You can read more about the band at http://www.billytalent.com/

Adamo Ruggiero, actor, Degrassi:  The Next Generation.  When we first met Adamo, he was a young singer who was just beginning to explore the boundaries of his talents not only with singing, but acting and dancing as well.  We helped Adamo prepare for one of his very earliest public performances, and he's never looked back.  Adamo plays "Marco del Rossi" on Degrassi, and he was recently a guest on the reality tv show,  'Canada's Next Top Model'.  You can read about Adamo at http://www.degrassi-tng.com/

Our students have participated in "Canadian Idol', achieve leading roles in music theatre shows, won awards at the Peel, Kawanis and Danforth  Music Festivals, and delighted parents at school talent shows.  We've successfully prepared advanced students for their RCM ARCT exams (piano performance), and  also countless auditions  for universities and colleges.  Our students  have been accepted to the following music programs in piano, guitar, bass, drums, voice and saxophone:

  • University of Toronto - Jazz Performance, Music Education and Theatre & Drams Programs
  • University of Western Ontario - Music Performance & Music Education Programs
  • York University - Bachelor of Fine Arts (Music)
  • University of Ottawa - Bachelor of Arts (Music)
  • Humber College - Jazz Diploma
  • Mohawk College - Jazz Diploma
  • Sheridan Institute - Music Theatre (Performance)
  • University of Windsor - Music Therapy Program

There is an increasing body of evidence that suggests that studying music makes your smarter.  Our students have proven that time and again.  We salute our former students who've been admitted to the most respected American universities including Princeton, Stanford and Cornell.
